Prokaryote or Eukaryote

This is my kitty Bo.  He is an animal made up of animal cells.  His DNA is inside his cells nucleus, this determined his color, his eye color, his sex, and his personality.  His cells have a nucleus and organells that have a membrane.  This makes his cells Eukaryotic. 

Moving on to Eukaryote and Prokaryote.

Lets talk about cells.  Cells are the building blocks of living organisms.  Cells were kinda and accident.  They started out as a simple celled organisms that got along well.  They got along so well that they reproduced and reproduced until over time they created a complex cell.  This is an animal cell.

What in the world is going on. In Science....

We are learning about classifying rocks in the classroom.  Then on to identifying properties of minerals.

Welcome to my blog.  We are going to try this for when I find something exciting or new in Science that I feel I need to share with my students.  We have great discussions in the classroom, but we never have enough time to complete our discussions.  This will be a spot where we can add our comments and thoughts about a topic we were or are going to discuss.
